Evil Aliens  $12.00 DVD - Colour, DVD-Video, NTSC, 89 minutes. Scalleum is a remote farming island off the north coast of Wales, only accessible at low tide via a causeway know as the "Devils Spine". The island is also home to an ancient stone circle known as the "Devils Teeth". This provides the sinister setting for the terrifying alien abduction of local farm girl, Cat Williams, and her Hitchhiker boyfriend, Angelo Jones. "Weird Worlde" is a cable TV program that's having trouble with its ratings. Threatened with losing her job if things don't improve, presenter Michelle Fox (Emily Booth) needs to come up with something special. She puts a team together to investigate the 'Scalleum Incident'. It's an intriguing story with a twist, as Cat Williams's claims to not have just been abducted by aliens, but also impregnated by them! Hence the cynical TV crew accompanied by actors to stage a dramatic reconstruction and UFO expert Gavin Gorman head off to the island. They arrive and experience the weirdness of this remote community, a farm powered by manure and some very twisted Welsh Farmers. Then tensions start to rise as the story proves TRUE!

Illegal Aliens $14.00 DVD   Anna Nicole Smith's final motion picture was ILLEGAL ALIENS--a sci-fi satire about three aliens who help save the Earth from treacherous invaders. The aliens disguise themselves as curvy female model-types and camp it up as they undertake their mission. Director David Giancola (TIME CHASERS) stirs plenty of B-movie mirth into the mix as ILLEGAL ALIENS leaps from one hysterical scene to the next.

Smith, whose movie credits include "Naked Gun 33 1/3" and "The Hudsucker Proxy," plays Lucy, who teams with fellow aliens Cameron (Lenise Soren) and Drew (Gladise Jimenez) to battle an extraterrestrial madwoman (pro wrestler Joanie Laurer) bent on destroying Earth. An opening scene shows the trio of shape-shifting visitors coming to Earth, Soren and Jimenez's characters shaped like alien blobs and Smith's shaped like a hog, accompanied by her little-girl voice squealing, "I'm a pig in space!" They later transform into hot women and get jobs as stunt experts in Hollywood

Inbred Redneck Alien Abduction  $12.00 DVD                            St. Louis filmmakers Patrick Voss and Adam Hackbarth's INBRED REDNECK ALIEN INVASION recalls the glory days of American International pictures and the drive-in B-picture atmosphere those films deliberately wallowed in. The pair combined to do a great deal of the creative work on the film including the direction, writing, special effects, and some of the acting. This sci-fi spoof concerns a group of government agents who make friends with some backwoods hillbillies in Arkansas in order to investigate a series of alien abductions. But the agents and the hicks find themselves on board the alien's spacecraft, victims of the very same fate they were investigating. INBRED REDNECK ALIEN INVASION is a combination of lowbrow comedy and genre parody similar to the SCARY MOVIE series

Recon2020 - The Caprini Massacre  $14.00 DVD   Actors: Andy Bradshaw, Kevin Kelsall, Patrick Sabongui, Gillian Leigh, Valérie Wiseman Directors: Christian Viel Format: AC-3, Color, Dolby, DVD-Video, Widescreen, NTSC Language: English Aspect Ratio: 1.33:1 Number of discs: 1 Studio: Maverick DVD Release Date: December 5, 2006 Run Time: 89 minutes

Recon 2020 is a star ship troops kind of movie about a recon military group that gets caught on a planet with zombies, cyborgs, and aliens. Lots of action and bloody fights make this film only for gory action lovers. I have to say that it manages to pack a lot of fantastic content into just under 90 minutes. Director Christian Viel, clearly a Horror and Sci Fi fan himself has managed to tip the hat to no less than 5 sub genres. In many ways this film has it all, vampires, werewolves, zombies, extra-dimensional aliens, cyborgs, flesh eating bugs, kick butt weaponry, explosions, air to air star fighter action and hot looking women. Yeah, that about covers it.
The story basically starts out a lot like Aliens and then takes whatever divergent path necessary to splatter all manner of baddies across an abandoned industrial looking outpost. Actually the whole thing manages to remind me of about 5 of my favorite films
